I cannot believe I didn't mention this to my brothers and their wives. Haven't tried this yet but, could you use a empty wipe container (the upright cylinder shaped ones) and just remove enough paper towels from the roll to make it fit?angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08508377214084691047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1553378774702873508.post-88742824832772189652011-10-28T00:19:38.923-06:002011-10-28T00:19:38.923-06:00Awesome blog. I was told by our midwife that baby oil pulls out vitamins/minerals from the skin when used. She recommend using another liquid oil at room temperature like olive oil. I make the solution and put it in a spray bottle. I spray my baby's butt with it and then use a cotton square cloth to wipe off the poop/mess/etc. This is perfect for at home. On the road, you moisten the clothes before you leave and carry them in a wipe container (most dollar stores carry them). Or take a smaller spray bottle and dry cloth wipes. Works great and I love them!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1553378774702873508.post-38312291608021728052010-08-01T11:44:59.318-06:002010-08-01T11:44:59.318-06:00Great tutorial and so easy! We use them for everything.

If you want exact measurements I use 1 TBLS of wash and 1 TBLS of oil and 2 cups of water. If it's too wet I leave the lid off...if it's too dry you can add more water depending on your preference. I always used the bounty big roll and if I could find the select a size ones those are perfect. Homemade was so much better for his tush and truth be told when DH and I had a stomach virus we used them too as they're so much softer and gentler then TP (just toss them and don't flush tho!)

HeatherAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1553378774702873508.post-61835051497502568912010-02-07T20:50:37.778-07:002010-02-07T20:50:37.778-07:00That is so awesome, I knew people did that but I h...That is so awesome, I knew people did that but I haven't tried it but I might now!!!
xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1553378774702873508.post-67771409321682399002010-02-07T12:27:04.660-07:002010-02-07T12:27:04.660-07:00Great recommendation. A few drops of tea tree oil will help prevent bacteria from growing on your wipes. I usually take one of those small wipes containers, wet a few wipes with wipes solution and place them in the container before I get ready to leave, so they are good for an all-day trip.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1553378774702873508.post-14714601094027217592010-02-06T09:21:14.226-07:002010-02-06T09:21:14.226-07:00Hi...Well I just use a few squirts.
