  13. I am having trouble reading one small part of your pattern for the bunny ears hat. Think I could get some help with that? I am seeing tr ch and don't know what it means. Does tr mean treble and if so, what is ch after the tr. Does it mean do one treble and one chain or well, I don't understand. Please help me. My granddaughter asked me to help her with this as she is a beginner, but I can't help her if I don't understand.

  14. Sorry for the confusion....The ch after tr was a mistake that I have now corrected...The tr stands for triple crochet....It's just a way of widening and narrowing your ear:-) Working small to larger and then small stitches.. I hope that helps!

  24. Michell,

Love those hats. Better watch out you don't want the news media hounds to see your boy in pink. It will blow up in the news. Then again, great exposure for your blog right? LOL!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it is the JCrew catalog picture from a few days ago: http://lat.ms/dPjEMf

BTW, I'm a mom of two boys. My older one loved the color pink until the elementary school kids laughed at him ;-(.

  28. Something I noticed while making the hat...directions instruct to start ears with ch 35, then sc in 2nd ch from hook thereby reducing it to ch 34, but when you add up the stitches (15 tc, 8 dc, 8 hdc, 4sc) you get 35 so you'll be one ch short :(
