Master Bedroom Makeover-Part 1

I'm joining The DIY Club !
DIY Club
I Love to project images on the wall, paint and save money!

I do LOVE vinyl for smaller projects like labeling, doors and mirrors.
But for the BIGGER projects this is my technique.
I painted 3 white trees and 1 dark gray to match an accent wall.
I added a couple of LOVE birds and some leaves for a pop of color.

I'm in love with this look!!
I knew while our house was being built that I wanted to paint trees in our master bedroom.

Repainted a plant stand
Had the hubby cut this old table in half
and made 2 end tables.

Doesn't paint just make everything look better:-)

Part 2 will include a headboard, wainscoting and silhouette.
So stay tuned.....

  25. I'll be honest. Normally I don't like gray bedrooms because so many I see look rather cold and uninviting. However, I really like yours. The trees lighten up the gray and they gave you a great focal point. Kudos to you for getting them done. Even with help of a projector or something, I probably wouldn't have had the patience to line all those trees up on the wall. Very nice though!

  26. Very cool idea. I used decals for the trees in my guest bedroom and I readily admit: it was A LOT of work to get them up there right. Painting probably would have been much easier! Great job!
