Painted Wall Clock

I am in LOVE with my new wall clock!!!
Totally stolen from HGTV's Sarah's House!!
I knew the minute I seen this episode that I had to
have this clock in my home!

She ordered the vinly from an office store...and since I don't own a Silhouette yet...I decided to project the image and paint it....

For the cost of paint {$1} and about 2 hours...
I recreated the vinly lettering for a fabulous wall clock!
I taped off a 27in vertical section
and painted it yellow for a POP of color in my blue/grey Living Room
I used this image from the site and projected on to the wall.....
I borrowed a projector from the hubby's work...
it hooks up to the computer and shines the image on the wall...
I also have 2 old school projectors but those require you to print the image on transparency paper to project the image...but work just as well....
Checking placement....

I purchased my clock hands on Amazon
BUT I have also seen them at Hobby Lobby...
I marked the center of the stripe and centered the
six and twelve in the middle.....
moving the projector closer or farther will determine the size of your image.
It took about 1/2 an hour to trace all the words with a pencil
 I used 2 coats of white glossy acrylic paint  {$1 at Wal-mart}
Looking good!
I LOVE the different sizes and fonts.....
and there you have it!
One fabulous Giant Wall Clock!
Check out all the places I party!

  1. Amazing. It's amazing it keeps time. The different fonts puts it over the top. I wouldn't have thought to do that. And why I come to your blog to get ideas. Ha!

  36. Warning for www.clock3.com! I received a clock with defective parts! They didn't take my word for the defectiveness despite detailed pictures sent. I had to return the parts at my expense (40 USD). Now, two months later I still haven´t received any new parts let alone any compensation...

When I posted the warning above, they deleted the comment from Facebook and blocked the comment function instead of replying. I wonder how many customers they have treated like this? DON'T BUY!
