Edible Crayons

As Seen on Pinterest!
shared the perfect preschool snacks!
Can it get any cuter???
So I just HAD to steal the idea........
You'll need some:
Pretzel sticks.
I buy the jumbo jugs at Sam's Club for $5.
Colored candy wafers.
I bought some at Hobby Lobby $2.99
{watch for their 1/2 off sales}
Printable wrappers
FREE.....
Gourmet Mom on-the-Go has a variety of wrappers
or you can download the ones I revised below.
Melt the candy wafers 30-45 seconds and dip each end of pretzels
They are dry and ready to wrap in about 15 minutes! Easy Peasy:-)
I revised the wrappers a bit and used colored stocked paper.
{I think thinner paper even construction paper
would have been easier to wrap}
Simply place the paper in my printer and instant labels!
15 per sheet.
For my revised FREE download click on the color.
Y is for Yellow
R is for Red
B is for Blue
G is for Green

My awesome X-Acto cutter that Elmers sent me awhile back
worked perfect for cutting the labels
Thank you Elmer's!

Because my paper was a little thick...
I used a pencil to curl the wrappers and
a glue spot to hold wrapper in place
Touch the outside of the wrapper to pick up the glue spot......
and wrap!
I put one of each color in a treat bag.....
want to go an extra step??
Check out these awesome  FREE printable crayon boxes from
Chico and Jo
and there you have the perfect little preschool snack
with an added learning touch:-)
and since my boy LOVES pretzels this is one Crayon he's gonna love to EAT!
Check out all the places I party!

  6. Supercool idea! I suppose you could use plain chocolate for brown, white chocolate for white, maybe mix colors for purple and orange...? Maybe use shimmery sprinkles for gold and silver crayons?
I found you through TCB...I'm off to explore the rest of your site! :)
    Cheers!

  18. I bought ALL of the supplies and I am WAITING to hear back from ONE person who has done these labels and offered them BLANK for their readers. I would like to do

D is for Dixon (teacher's name)

    AND

R is for Rottkamp (teacher's name)

No one has helped me yet. I have contacted 3 blog writers. I know how to make labels on my own, but I am very limited on time currently. Any chance you would be willing to help me out.
