My Image Inspiration by Gildden

Last month I introduced you to
 My Colortopia
 In my "My Colortopia by Glidden" post

As a refresher my Colortopia is a new community by Glidden that helps you select colors with ease. If you are intimidated  by design decisions check out the site for advice and inspiration. My Colortopia helps you select  paint colors AND get all your painting questions answered.

Their awesome color tool called “My Image Inspiration” is what helps you select paint colors. It's awesome if you have a paint color in mind, but have no idea what to pair with it.
 
Today I can't wait to share with you this wonderful feature!

WOW is this ever a fun tool to help find color inspiration for a project...just upload a photo and FIND the perfect color to go with it!

I uploaded this picture of a chair in my craft room.....

 I was so excited to see what colors it would pick for me.....

 See?? You just go to My Colortopia then under the Color Tools option you will see My Image Inspiration

Then just upload a photo of something you like - your couch, rug, fabric - and they'll help you find colors that both match and coordinate with it.

As you can see in the photo I uploaded..... you can narrow in on a smaller area when using the selection tool to generate colors you wish to see......

 I widened my color area and LOOK at the beautiful colors it chose for me!

WOW! I am in LOVE with both the Teals and the Delicious Plum!
 Next step is to pick one of the four colors and see the palettes.

I choose Delicious Plum and these are the wonderful colors that will go with them...How COOL!
My Image Inspiration also gives the options to email, print and/or share on Facebook.

So if you have trouble matching colors for a room, or even if you just don’t know where to start, You must give this tool a try! If you have a piece of furniture, a piece of artwork, or a favorite photograph, let the My Image Inspiration tool be your starting point to an amazing room!
