I just painted a chair red Easter Weekend and stuck a pot on it! I wish I could cut a hole and stick a pot in it. Looks good. I posted about mine. It had layers of ugly paint and I just painted over it red. I stuck it in my flower bed thinking the more paint the better to protect it from the elements.

How terrific!! If you don't mind me asking, how did you cut the hole in your chair? I might have to give this a shot!

Old and shaby chair turned into a new and chic planter. Awesome!

Very, very cute! I just pulled one out the attic a few days ago that I paid $5 for at a yard sale, intending to do this -- about five years ago! Better late than never, right? How did you cut the hole -- with a jigsaw?

What a cute planter! I love these chair planters and made one myself a few years ago with a chair I got at an auction for $1. It eventually fell apart from being outside but was a $1 well spent.
