BiGGER and BETTER House Numbers

The pizza guy will have no trouble finding my house now
with these nice new BIG house numbers!
I used an old shutter,  6 1/2" numbers from the craft store or home improvement store, some thrift store stars and a larger one I cut from scrap wood
and a piece of leftover house siding.

Arranged my look to how I liked it, painted the numbers and stars and
screwed it all in place.....

Over time it will have a nice charming weathered look.

Home Sweet Home
Check out all the places I party!

This is a great idea to help 911 find you in case of an emergency, too. We had a hard to see number on our front steps, we put it in a more visible place.

WoW...I LOVE THIS! I have been looking for something for the past 9 months since we moved into our new digs! Either it was butt ugly or way too expensive (my mom always told me I had expensive taste *wink*), or just not practical! I think something along this line would be perfect. What came with the house were those awful stick on a metal plate kind...YUCK!
Thanks so much for sharing...new follower here!!

Those are so much better. We have the same situation with our house letters and I hate them. This has inspired me. I'd love it if you'd link this up to my new link party on Mondays: http://www.askannamoseley.com/search/label/Weekend%20Warrior%20Link%20Party

That looks great! Smart, too. It's not always the pizza guy who can't find a house. Sometimes it's the ambulance or firetruck.
