From Shabby to Chic

022
I found this cute little table at the Good Will years ago for $20!
029
I thought it was about time I painted it!
032
I used Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint
Granite on the top
Old White on the base
Duck Egg on the drawers
038
No need to wax or sand….
just wipe down to remove dust….
AND you are ready to paint!
036
Per Annie Sloan’s book….I painted right over the hardware!
039
and there she is painted w/ 2 coats in less than 1/2 hr!
019
I used clear wax on the whole piece and dark wax in just a few areas
016
Ta Da!!

Check out all the places I party!

Very pretty! And thanks for the close up of the brush strokes in the paint (for those of us who are using home made chalk paint).

Wanted to know if you stripped off the clear coat and stain before you painted?
