These blocks are so stinking cute AND so simple to make!
I don’t normally decorate for the Holidays with
the expectation of Christmas.
But my next T.V. segment is on Easter crafts
I made these blocks in less than a half hour with supplies
I had around the house.
What I used:
- 2x4
- Sanding Black
- Sticky Numbers
- Paint
{optional stain and stamp}
I cut a 2x4 into 3 random sizes. {Home Depot will make cuts for free if you give them your measurements.}
Next sand the edges of each block
I used some distress ink on the edges.
I like the worn look it gives after some of the paint is sanded off….
You can also use a little stain if you prefer.
Next pick colors and paint!
I LOVE these pastel satin paints from Martha Stewart.
Lucky me won them over at Always in Wonder!
One coat did the trick
Then I just gave the blocks a quiet sand so the distress ink shows.
I used a little bunny stamp for the top block.
I used 2” sticky numbers on the blocks to spell out…
HAPPY EASTER!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Please check out all the places I party!

Very cute! They'd be great as little teacher gifts in a classroom. I've made a few projects with blocks, I might have to give these a try as well :)
I'd like to invite you to come link these and any of your creative projects up at my *Get Creative* linky party!
