Girl in Air is NOW a Store Front!

I have been slighting lagging on blog posts and the reason is because I OPENED a local store!!
EKKKKKKKKkkkkkk!
I rented the perfect little store front in a strip mall and the last month and a half I have been re-purposing it and making inventory.
I ripped up the carpet, panted the floor, all the walls and ceiling and built a window display.
I can't wait to share that whole process in a later post.

It has been a wonderful experience! Why did I open a store you ask?? Well, after getting several e-mails wanting to purchase items
from my tutorials, I opened an Etsy shop…..from there I decided to sell locally at craft fairs.
The number one question I was asked at my booths was
“Where’s your store?”
So…..I opened one!
Along with items I make, I also offer a few specially items for purchase that you can’t buy locally…

and Impress Art stamping supplies.
I also have about 10 local vendors selling their items at my store so it gives customers a wide variety of products to choose from.

The BEST part, I get to do my THANG!!! And that is to host weekly  D.I.Y classes! I have been doing a local D.I.Y segment on the morning news since February.
So, I’m excited to offer a more hands on approach.

Starting in January I hope to sell Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint….No one in the state of Wyoming sells it, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase this fabulous paint and offer classes as well!

I’m still in the process of applying to be the Wyoming stockist but crossing my fingers it's all completed by January.

I even had a commercial filmed!
I will share the commercial and the whole process of repurposing the store at a later date.

I joined my local Chamber of Commerce….
(which is VERY beneficial to any small business!)
I had my ribbon cutting on opening day on Friday!

Let the SALES beginSmile
