Alphabet Wall

I'm so excited to be in our NEW home and I'm transforming each room.....
I painted the world , applied Faux Wainscoting to a wall
Now I'm adding an alphabet wall!!
I got inspiration for the Alphabet Wall all over the web....
Here at A Time for Everything
And Here at ohdeedoh
Love Love the Button!!
And my FAVORITE here from the Pottery Barn Kids catalog
The best part about an alphabet wall is you just can't go wrong.....You can find a letter in anything if you just use your imagination.
Now on to my Alphabet Wall:
I've been collecting letters for awhile at thrift stores and
craft store clearance bins......
My plan was to add this feature to my son's room BUT I decided to put in above my faux wainscoting and boy do I ever LOVE it!!
At every meal my son and I go over the alphabet he loves to walk up and down this walk and say his ABC's.

With my letters and my craft scrap bin......
Here's what I did
The D is wrapped in yarn
E is cut from cardboard and painted
F is glued with moss
G is wrapped in ribbon
K is painted
L is wrapped in craft raffia
M is wrapped in twine
P is framed
Q is a wreath with a few cuts
R is painted with sanded edges
S is from Hobby Lobby
T is an airplane that broke off my globe
U is painted with polka dots

I LOVE how it turned out!
