Wanta See What I'm Working On????

Oh I'm so stinking excited!! I just had to share BEFORE my project is finished!
So I'm creating an Art Learning Wall for my son.....
The bottom half is galventized steel for magnets...
We made a few and we have a ton of letters and numbers

The upper is all homemade chalkboard paint in many colors....
We are learning our shapes and colors..
Inspiration and recipe from Attempting Aloha

He will be able to add a rainbow, train passengers, apples, birds, monkeys in the tree or whatever his little heart desires!

Oh and the BEST part....
A mini sliding ladder!!!
So he can climb and pick felt apples and draw is creations.....

Inspiration from The DIY Show Off

The bottom will be framed out with a board that I am painting with  Dry Erase and (some dry erase clouds)....so no little fingers will get cut and for more art fun::-)

If you are my friend on Facebook you are the first to see all my
projects and what I'm working on...

Sorry I don't have a blog fan page set up....I just don't think I could keep up with 2 facebook pages....PLUS.... I LOVE making new friends...I pretty much just post pics of my boy, projects I'm working on and my favorite blogs....
Check out my Facebook Album

Stay tuned...I'll share the cost and how to very soon.....it's ALMOST done....Woot!

I hopped over here from your link up at Simple Home Life.

That's awesome! Your wall looks great :)

Your train wall is so cute! I also love the magnet area you added under the train. It reminds me of the *tracks*. LONG ago when my boys were little we spray painted one wall with magnet paint and almost poisoned ourselves with the fumes. Your idea is much better!
On another note, your blog button is simply adorable! I have a business where I paint home decor items (like blog designs) by recreating a design on a ceramic tile as a keepsake item. If you're ever interested in something like that, please contact me. I show my work on my blog too if you'd like to see.

Ahhhh!!! I don't think I can handle any more fabulousness! This is beyond amazing and my son would have flipped out for this at that age. He was and is still train obsessed and this is incredible! Seriously...you are so beyond talented and creative! :-)

Oh that is so amazing! I hope my 3 1/2 year old train MANIAC doesn't see that or I'm going to be awfully busy! And a ladder...wow, just wow!

I found you on Tatertots & Jello and I'll be back!
